There’s a ton of news going around the tablet & tech industry right now. With the recent announcement of the iPad mini, and Google’s announcement of the Nexus 10…it’s interesting to see which company will be able to come out at top in the new tablet face off.

Google recently announced the Nexus 10, the predecessor to the Nexus 7. And at almost the same time, Apple announced the iPad Mini, a smaller more compact version of the “new” iPad. Now the battle between Nexus 10 vs iPad mini has begun

iPad Minis will start shipping out on the 2nd of November, while the Nexus 10 will be “available for purchase” on the 13th of November.

The Nexus 10′s screen is the new change Google is presenting: a 10-inch panel running at 2560 x 1600, screen resolution of 300ppi. Compared to Apple’s iPad Mini screen, which delivers 2048 x 1536 and 264ppi. The Nexus 10 is a 16:9 display while the iPad is 4:3.

The Nexus 10 houses a dual-core Samsung Exynos processor with a quad-core ARM T604 graphics processor. The iPad has Apple’s own A6X processor, a dual-core design with quad-core graphics.

The Nexus 10 has 2GB of RAM. Apple doesn’t publish specifications, but the iPad Mini is believed to have 1GB.
